The school bell is ringing, the hallways are filling, and your stomach is grumbling. As you hurry down to the parking lot with your group of friends, you realize the lackluster of your usual afterschool snack and begin to mumble about your thirst for quality food. If you find yourself in this situation, take a look at these local restaurants, handpicked by Clark Chargers like yourself!
1. Curry Zen
Located only 1.4 miles away from Clark, Curry Zen was ranked as the number one best place to visit after school!
“Not only is it close, but they also serve good food with a decent price,” states senior Andrea Lam.
Curry Zen serves exactly what the name suggests, a steaming plate of delicious, authentic curry with a choice of several different sides. If you and your friends are craving a zesty meal, try out our Chargers favorite spot!
2. Chipotle
This eatery, though old, can truly be seen as gold to Clark students. After several years, Chipotle has remained a beloved location to dine in after school.
“I love Chipotle because there’s a variety of food to choose from so I don’t have to get the same exact thing every time!” exclaims A.M.S.A.T. student Trina Hua.
The restaurant is famously known for its burrito bowls, which consist of a choice of meat, rice, beans, and an assortment of vegetables. Though you may have frequented this place before, it’s never a bad choice when looking for a quick and yummy meal!

3. McDonald’s
One can never go wrong with McDonald’s! In the minds’ of every Clark student, our local fast food chain has been around since the Dark Ages. Legendary for its food quality, students never fail to list McDonald’s as one of their most treasured locations.
“My favorite place to eat after school is McDonald’s because not only does the food fill my stomach but it also keeps my wallet pretty full as well,” said senior Anu Thennakoon.
If you’re low on cash but hoping to feed your ravenous stomach, don’t be afraid to stop by this familiar joint!
As you hop into your car, reeling through the various restaurants distributed around Clark, be sure to consider your fellow Chargers’ favorite places. There’s always a time to let your taste buds run free.
